Celi Courtney, LPC CandidateCeli Courtney has a master's degree in counseling from Carson Newman University and an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Tennessee. Celi has received life experience and education being a single parent and working in the financial industry for over 25 years.
Celi desires to offer a warm, accepting and non-judgmental place where people are invited to heal and grow. Celi works with individuals who struggle with disordered eating, relationship building, communication, depression, anxiety, grief, abuse, anger, parenting, self-worth, and spiritual identity. She considers it a privilege to partner with clients as they unfold their unique stories to seek direction and healing. Celi enjoys spending time enjoying her two grandchildren, water and snow skiing, hiking, and diving deep into God's word through personal study and group discussions. |
Ashley Lewis, MS, LMFTAshley Lewis, a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist, received her master’s degree from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University. She has worked in the mental health field since 1998 in various settings, including a children's home, community mental health clinics, hospital outpatient program and Catholic Social Services.
Ashley’s counseling interests include premarital preparation, marriage and family issues, life transitions, spiritual development, caregiving, and medical family therapy. She is a trained facilitator for the Prepare-Enrich © Program and provides premarital counseling for Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Ashley is a member of the Tennessee Association for Marital and Family Therapy. Ashley is from Tazewell, VA and has lived in Knoxville since 2008. She and her husband have been married for 16 years and have two daughters. |
Jamie Suarez, LPC-MHSPJamie Suarez is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Mental Health Service Provider. He has a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Carson Newman University and has worked in the mental health field since 2004 in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitalization, residential treatment, and mental health outpatient. He's been affiliated with Cokesbury since 2004.
Jamie's interests and experience includes working with those in recovery from addictions, couples, and those experiencing emotional problems such as anxiety, depression, grief, shame, anger, and self-esteem problems. In general Jamie works well with those seeking emotional and spiritual growth and sees many relational and emotional predicaments as opportunities for such growth. Jamie and his wife have been married for 13 years and have two children. |
